Description
This owl was literally flying circles around me as I stood quietly at the edge of a field. It was concentrating on its hunt but I could tell exactly when it noticed my presence with a stutter in its wing beats and direct eye contact with my lens. It came to a brief stop on a nearby fence post and studied me intently. The study was short lived and it quickly went back to hunting for its next meal.
